Looking Back, to Move Ahead

I believe you must look back to move ahead with a greater position of strength and purpose. I love reflective thinking and encourage my clients to carve out time to answer insightful questions all year round, but I especially promote deep self-reflection and evaluation of past achievements, failures, decisions, actions, and results after year-end.

I’m still in progress with my personal 2022 look back. A vital part of my full-year review process is answering powerful questions that allow me to celebrate how far I came in 2022 and uncover strategies, actions, and needed changes to go further in 2023. Below are some of the questions that give me clarity, focus, and excitement to kick off the year.

*What worked and didn’t work?
*What should I start doing, stop doing, and continue doing?
*What can I enhance or do differently?
*What do I need to focus more on and less?
*What can I leverage, innovate or transform?
*When did I fail, and what did I learn from it?
*What got in my way of greater success?
*What did I enjoy most?
*What was my biggest win, and why did it happen?
*What did I let go of?
*What habits contributed to my success?
*What energized me?
*What drained me?
*What surprised me?
*Who’s advice or support was transformative?
*What relationships were most important?
